Our idea is to develop processes to extract and separate critical metals from mineral deposits and waste. We have special expertise in hydrometallurgy - extraction of metals from rocks/minerals or as recycling of, for example, waste.

Services
Analysis
When performing hydrometallurgical processes, analyzes are included during process testing. BorealEx has broad and detailed knowledge of technology to reduce waste and extract minerals and/or metals more environmentally friendly. The company's primary expertise is in hydrometallurgy, rare earths, recovery of metals, separation of elements and critical metals in general.
Radioactivity studies
BorealEx has competence to carry out work with radioactivity, as this is a deficient competence in Norway and Europe. We can analyze and process quantities of 1 kg of mineral containing thorium or uranium.
Project management and consulting assistance
We have broad experience in hydrometallurgy and materials technology, and we help customers to improve processes and decisions by offering project management and/or consulting assistance in hydrometallurgy and materials technology. .
